Know before you buy
Work out your old gold's value, find your ring size, plan your savings and read a hallmark, all at our own rate for today.
What is my old gold worth?
Enter the weight and purity. We show the value of the gold in it at our rate for today.
Stones, wax and other metal are removed before weighing. The final value is fixed after we test the purity in front of you, with your old bill if you have it.
Find your ring size
Two ways, both take a minute. Indian sizes, the ones we use at the counter.
- Hold any bank or ATM card against the screen and drag the first slider until the box is exactly the card's width.
- Put your ring on the circle and drag the second slider until the circle fills the inside of the ring.
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or thread around the finger, just below the knuckle.
- Mark where it meets, lay it flat on a ruler and measure in millimetres.
- Enter it here. Measure in the evening, when fingers are a little larger.

Gold savings calculator
Set aside a fixed amount every month, then pick jewellery from the shop at the end of the plan.
The plan length and its benefits are explained at the counter and written on your scheme card. This calculator shows only what you put in.
How to read a hallmark
Every gold piece sold in India must carry these three marks. Tap each one.
Check your HUID
Type the 6-character code from your piece or bill. Then check it in the government's free BIS Care app.
In the app, tap "Verify HUID" and enter the code. It shows the jeweller, the purity and the type of article. Our HUID is printed on every bill.
